Ready for long trips.
For the school run or a short commute, probably not. But for anyone who has sat next to a child on a long-haul flight or a two-hour car ride — watching their head slowly drop forward, jolt awake, and drop again — the answer becomes obvious. Kids fall asleep sitting upright just like adults do. The difference is that their necks are smaller, their heads are proportionally heavier, and most travel pillows on the market aren't built for them at all.
A correctly sized kids travel pillow keeps the head stable during upright sleep, reduces chin drop and side tilt, and means fewer wake-ups for everyone in the row.
FLOWZOOM's kids pillows are not scaled-down adult pillows. They are purpose-built for children — with child-specific sizing, softer materials, and closures designed for smaller necks. The COMFY Kids comes in two sizes based on age. The AIR Kids is a sized-down version of the AIR with a strap closing system instead of a cord, so it sits securely without adjustment frustration mid-journey.
Our pillows are regularly reviewed by parents, refined, and tested in real travel situations with children. Quality you can prove.
Kids travel means spills, crumbs, and general chaos. Both the COMFY Kids and AIR Kids have removable, machine-washable covers — so a dirty pillow after a long flight is a quick fix, not a problem. We continuously work on making our packaging and materials more sustainable. No single-use plastic, no unnecessary extras — every kids pillow comes with a reusable travel pouch.
We stand behind our products — with no expiry date. If you're not happy with your pillow within the first 180 days — for any reason — we'll exchange it or refund your purchase. No lengthy back and forth, no fine print. After 180 days, our responsibility doesn't end: any defect caused by our manufacturing or materials is covered by a lifetime guarantee. Reach us anytime through the form on our contact page.
Remove the cover via the zipper on the back and machine wash at 30°C. Air-dry after washing — avoid the tumble dryer. Never wash the foam core or inflatable bladder; air them out or wipe them down dry between trips. Washing the cover before first use is recommended for both pillows.
Technically yes — but in practice, adult pillows sit too high, wrap too loosely, and don't hold a child's head in place. Younger children especially don't have the neck strength to compensate for a poor fit. That's why FLOWZOOM offers dedicated kids sizes: COMFY Kids Size S for children aged 3 and above, designed to fit between child safety seat head padding; COMFY Kids Size M for older children who have moved on from safety seats; and the AIR Kids for children who prefer an inflatable option, sized down from the adult AIR with a strap closing system in ice blue.
For the COMFY Kids, age is the clearest guide: Size S for children aged 3 and above, Size M for children aged 6 and above. If your child is still using a child safety seat, go with Size S — it's designed to fit between the seat's head support padding. Size M is for older children who have outgrown safety seats. The AIR Kids is designed for children aged 6 and above — the strap closing system makes it easy to adjust to your child's neck on the go.
The COMFY Kids comes in Blue and Pink, in both Size S and Size M — so you can match your child's preference or pick a color they'll actually get excited about bringing on the trip. The AIR Kids comes in ice blue. All kids pillows currently come in gift-ready packaging — a thoughtful choice for families who travel regularly, or for anyone looking for a gift that gets used rather than forgotten. Worth noting: the gift box will be phased out over the coming months, so if that matters to you, now is a good time to order.
